Quotation Tool CRM
Development Updates

The Third Party ingredient system matures - a dedicated Vendors directory, MOQ and Source URL fields, and auto-generated E-numbers - while a brand new Sales workspace lands in staging: a Leads inbox and a drag-and-drop Pipeline board. Rounded out by rollback context pills on Quote Requests, sales-rep names on issued quotes, and archived Ingredient Requests finally filed where they belong.

New Features &
Enhancements

Capsules per Serving flows from Sales into the Lab, reverted quotes explain themselves at a glance, and last week's Third Party ingredient hub grows a full vendor directory, MOQ and Source URL fields, and automatic E-numbering.

Feature Update

Capsules per Serving Flows Into the Lab

  • New Sales-Tab Column -- The Composition Intent Quantity Tiers on the Sales tab gain a Capsules per Serving column for capsule products.
  • Auto-Seeds R&D -- The value Sales enters automatically pre-fills the same field on the R&D Lab tab the moment the lab record is created.
  • Less Re-Typing -- R&D Lab Settings arrive pre-filled, closing another gap between what Sales captures and what the Lab starts from.
Edit Product dialog on step 2 'Composition Intent' for a Capsules product, showing the Quantity Tiers & Completion Date section where the tier row now has a 'Capsules per Serving' column (value 2, underlined in red) between Servings per Container (5) and Notes, alongside Containers per WO (30)
Quote detail page viewed by Josiah Purchasing showing the Formula & Product Identity and Ingredients & Production sections; the Quantity Tiers table on the right lists Containers per WO 30, Servings per Container 5, and the new Capsules per Serving column with value 2 underlined in red
Feature Update

Reverted Pill on Quote Requests

  • Instant Rollback Context -- Reverted Quote Requests now carry a 'Reverted' pill beside the quote number in both list and detail views.
  • Hover For The Story -- Hovering the pill reveals which status the quote was reverted from, who reverted it, and the reason given.
  • No More Digging -- The team sees rollback history at a glance instead of opening the quote or combing through activity logs.
All Quote Requests list with 24 total requests and stat cards for Issued, Client Accepted, and Issues; the first row shows a 'Reverted' pill next to its New status badge with a hover tooltip reading 'Reverted from R&D by Darin McOwen - Reason: test', among rows for stickpack and capsule quotes assigned to various sales reps
Feature Update

Third Party Ingredients: Source URL

  • Builds On Last Week -- The Third Party hub introduced on July 1-7 now captures where each manually added ingredient was found online.
  • New Source URL Field -- The Add Third Party Ingredient dialog gains a Source URL field for attaching the online reference link.
  • Manual Only -- The field appears for manually sourced ingredients and hides itself when the source is set to Auto.
Add Third Party Ingredient dialog with fields for SFP Ingredient Name, Specification, an auto-generated E Number, a Source dropdown set to Manual, and the new Source URL field (placeholder 'e.g. ingredientsonline.com') underlined in red, above a UOM selector and Cancel/Save buttons
Feature Update

Third Party Ingredients: Vendor MOQ

  • MOQ Per Vendor -- Third Party vendors now support a Minimum Order Quantity field, recorded alongside unit, price, and date.
  • Visible Everywhere -- The MOQ shows in the vendor dialogs across the R&D, Sourcing, and Pricing tabs, so order minimums travel with the quote.
Third Party ingredient detail page for 'Third Party item' (E1000, kilograms, Manual source) with an Edit Vendor Detail dialog open showing Default Vendor 'test vendor', Unit kilograms, Price/Unit 120.00, a Date field, and the new MOQ field with value 500 underlined in red; the Product Vendors table behind lists five vendor rows with an MOQ column
Feature Update

Third Party Ingredients: Vendors Directory

  • One Home For Vendors -- A new Third Party Vendors directory under Settings lists every vendor with ingredient, MOQ, unit, price, and date.
  • Cross-Linked Both Ways -- Jump from an ingredient to its vendors, or from a vendor detail page to every ingredient they supply.
  • No More Scatter -- Vendor management is centralized in one place instead of spread across individual ingredient records.
Third Party Vendors directory page subtitled 'Vendor pricing across all third party ingredients - vendor, unit, price and date', showing a searchable, filterable table of 7 records with columns for Vendor, Ingredient, MOQ, Unit, Price, Date, and Actions, listing vendors like New Test Vendor and test vendor with prices from $0.20 to $231.00
Feature Update

Third Party Ingredients: Auto E-Numbers

  • Sequential By Default -- New Third Party ingredients are automatically assigned the next E-number in sequence, starting at E1000.
  • No Manual Step -- The E Number field in the add dialog is read-only and assigned on save, removing a manual entry entirely.
  • Clean Catalog -- Duplicate or missing E-numbers can no longer creep in as the Third Party catalog grows.
Add Third Party Ingredient dialog where the E Number field is grayed out and reads 'Auto-generated', with helper text 'Assigned automatically when you save (e.g. E1001)' underlined in red, alongside SFP Ingredient Name, Specification, Source, Source URL, and UOM fields

Sales Leads & Pipeline
Staging Preview

A brand new Sales workspace lands on the staging app as a fully clickable UI preview - a Leads inbox for WeCare and website inquiries, and a drag-and-drop Pipeline Kanban board. Database wiring comes next, so data does not yet persist between sessions.

New Feature (UI Preview)

Sales Leads Page

  • Leads Inbox -- A new Leads page under the Sales sidenav collects WeCare and website inquiries with tabs, filters, pagination, and a running counter.
  • New Lead Dialog -- A structured intake form captures contact, company, product, desired services, and additional info in one pass.
  • Inline Editing -- A Lead Detail drawer plus quick status, priority, and owner dropdowns directly on each row keep triage fast.
  • Preview Only -- Fully clickable and functional as a UI preview - database wiring is not connected yet, so leads do not persist.
New Leads page under the Sales section of the sidenav, subtitled 'WeCare & website inquiries land here', with tab filters (Inbox, New, Contacted, Qualified, In Pipeline, Unqualified, All), source and owner dropdowns, and two lead rows showing source pills (WeCare, Instagram), Warm/Hot priority flags, In Pipeline status chips, owner assignment dropdowns, and green View Card buttons
New Lead dialog titled 'Log a WeCare or website inquiry' with Lead Details (Source, Priority, Assign To), Company Information (email, name, phone, company, country, website), Product Information (description, quantity, type, ingredients), and Additional Information including a Desired Services checkbox list (Formulation, White Label, Private Label, Tolling, Turnkey, Bulk Products, and more)
New Feature (UI Preview)

Sales Pipeline Board

  • 8-Stage Kanban -- A new Pipelines board under the Sales sidenav runs from Lead Intake through Quoting, R&D, Sample Approved, PO, Production, and Won, with drag-and-drop between columns.
  • Rich Card Detail -- Each card opens a dialog with stage tasks, notes, an edit form, and a mark-as-lost action; tasks can be checked off or dragged between stages.
  • Connected To Leads -- A '+ Add' button spins up a New Quote Request card in place, and 'View Card' on a lead deep-links straight to its matching card.
  • Preview Only -- Like the Leads page, the backend layer is not hooked up yet, so pipeline data does not persist between sessions.
Pipeline Board Kanban under the Sales sidenav with team filter buttons (All Teams, Team Zach, Team Danny, Team Sheldon) and color-coded columns for Lead Intake (2 cards), Quoting Process, Quote Approved - R&D Stage, Sample Approved, PO Received, Production, and Won, with two lead cards showing dosage-format tags and task progress bars
Pipeline card detail dialog for 'My Company - This and that' in Lead Intake, showing an On Track badge, a 14% progress bar, and a Lead Intake task checklist (Demo Call Completed checked with a logged note, Quote Submitted in Acctivate, Quote Submitted in CRM, NDA Sent to Client, MFG Quality Agreement Sent to Client and more), each with add-note fields, above Close and Mark as Lost actions

UI / UX
Improvements

Issued quotes now credit the assigned Sales Representative automatically, and the app introduces itself properly in the browser tab.

UI Update

Prepared By Uses the Sales Representative

  • Auto-Filled Name -- Final quotes now fill the Prepared By field with the assigned Sales Representative's full name.
  • Always In Sync -- The name refreshes on every Issued Quote generation, so reassignments are always reflected.
  • Consistent Everywhere -- The same name flows through the printed quote, the PDF, and the emailed version.
Issued Quote view for QR-260616-001 (Stickpacks Formulation, assigned to Arlandon Regero) showing the rendered Vitalpax quotation document; in the quotation header the Prepared By line reads 'Arlandon Regero' underlined in red, matching the Assigned Sales Representative, above Customer Information and Payment and Shipping panels
UI Update

New Tab Title & Favicon

  • Proper App Title -- The browser tab now reads 'Quotation Tool Vitalpax' instead of the old 'Vitalpax 2025'.
  • V-Mark Favicon -- The favicon switches to the V-only Vitalpax mark, making the tab easy to spot in a crowded browser.

Bug Fixes

Ingredient Requests tied to archived quotes no longer clutter the active tabs.

Bug Fix

Archived Ingredient Requests Filed Away

  • Out Of Active Tabs -- Ingredient Requests tied to archived quotes no longer appear in the active Ingredient Request tabs.
  • Renamed Archived Tab -- They now group under a renamed 'Archived' tab (previously 'Sourcing'), each marked with an Archived status chip.
  • History Preserved -- Hovering the chip reveals the request's original status, so nothing about its prior state is lost.
Ingredient Requests page with the renamed 'Archived' tab selected (underlined in red) among All, Pending/Processing, Completed, Returned, and Withdrawn tabs, listing 8 requests where archived rows carry a gray 'Archived' status chip in place of their original Sourcing or Pricing Update status
